When we selected the mini satin bows as a goodie, I never could have anticipated how adorable they'd be when paired with the origami kites made from our duplex paper. The bows also serve as handy anchor points for the twine attached to the kite.

We've included two sheets of text weight duplex printed paper in your kit knowing it would come in handy for folding projects. Check out this adorable easy-to-make pinwheel created with a 2" square. Simply cut toward the center of the square from each corner. Next, fold the tip of every other corner toward the center, pierce a hole through the petals, and secure with a mini brad from your stash.

Crafting techniques are cyclical, and stencils are finding themselves back in the limelight again! Have a ball creating everything from basic backgrounds or artsy projects with assorted mediums in your stash with this nifty stencil. Here, use Lagoon ink and an ink applicator brush to create a background on the 12x12 Lt. Green page.

I'm back at it again with my craft knife tricks. Use a craft knife and cutting mat to cut around the pinwheel on the right edge of the 12x12 Pinwheel Print. Simply slide the nested photo mat beneath the image for a nice look. Next, layer a handmade pinwheel to the round cutapart on the lower left corner of the mat.

If you're not currently a page kit member, it's not too late. Join us, or give us a call if you have questions about how it works. Of course, you don't have to be a member to pick up the Fly a Kite collection while supplies last!

I'm sharing all the details on how to trim and sort the papers, make origami kites and pinwheels, tie pretty bows, avoid tangents, and more on this month's assembly tutorial. The link to the video is embedded right in your assembly instruction download. "See" you there!
