Welcome to my long post! I'm excited to share all of the details about our new Woodland Christmas Special Release. While you're here, I invite you to watch a couple of video previews, take a visual tour of the pages, cards, and stamps, and also read more about what's in store for the holiday season.

Luckily, we planned ahead and our holiday will not be affected by various supply chain issues. (Great work, team!) And remember, this collection is a special release - if it's not your thing, don't worry, nothing ships automatically.

Woodland Christmas Page Kit

It's a beauty, isn't it? The traditional color palette of pine green, true red, white, and kraft is a perfect match for the gorgeous watercolor artwork. The white, red and green all have beautiful textures, as well.

Join me for a really quick walk-through of the full collection by watching this video.

Next, let's learn a little more about each double page spread.

Layouts 1 & 2

Check out this adorable Kraft tag! Punch out the reindeer, and place a red strip of paper behind the die cut opening. Add a small red jewel dazzle to the nose, and he'll light the way! Next, thread a small piece of red ribbon through the top of the tag and then adhere a basic bow. finally, add jute to the top of the silver charm and layer beneath the bow.

Layouts 3 & 4

For this adorable embellishment, pop out the reindeer from the tag, fill the opening with a scrap of black cardstock, and adhere the reindeer with foam adhesive. Thread jute onto the tag and tie the tails in a knot. Glue the knot onto the tag to prevent it from scooting around.

Layouts 5 & 6

This is my classic "background to the foreground" trick. To allow the owl image to remain in the foreground, temporarily place the nested photo mat on the layout and mark where the edge of the mat meets the owl image with a pencil. Cut around the owl shape with a craft knife, using the pencil marks as the stop/start guide, and slide the mat behind the image.

Layouts 7 & 8

I typically finish all of the layouts in the set and then embellish with the red jewel dazzles. For easiest applications, remove the dazzle from the sheet with the tip of a craft knife and transfer onto your project. Add them to the fussy-cut journaling prompts for a nice finishing touch.

Card Kit

Woodland Christmas Card Kit by Club Scrap #clubscrap

We don't always include a card kit in our special release line-ups, but when we do . . . it's fabulous!

This card kit contains the papers, cutaparts and embellishments required to make twelve 4.5x6.25" cards, four each of three different styles. Take a moment to view this quick video highlighting the contents of the kit.

We stuck with the A6 envelope for all twelve cards because it will perfectly hold a 4x6 holiday print! Remember, you can take advantage of inexpensive standard prints instead of paying a premium price for those 4x8 or 5x7 holiday specials.

Stamps

Whether you like to create super-fancy cards or keep it simple with your stamped holiday greetings, this sheet of stamps has great options for you! Stay tuned to the blog for more details on Julie's fun cards!

I know Halloween hasn't arrived. Same for Thanksgiving. But it's never too soon to begin preparing for a handmade Christmas!

Warm wishes!

Tricia
