Create fun and creative cards and pages while combining Wine Time and Say Cheese stamps for the perfect crafty pairing. I adore these stamps alone, but together, they were a great fit. I had fun exploring ways to match up the sayings on cards and then finding unique techniques for making embellishments for my pages.

Pages
Gather papers from the Say Cheese collection. To recreate these pages use the following selections: Paper A - Chalkboard Print, Paper B - Gold Shimmer, Paper C - Cheese Print, Paper D - Navy Blue Plain, and (2) Paper E - Ivory Plains.
Trim the papers according to the detailed instructions. I chose to mix things up a bit and altered the page sketch to shift the focus to the Chalkboard Print on the finished layouts.
Stamp the bottle and wine glass images on a sheet of clear acetate in India Ink. Allow these to dry completely before moving on to the next step.
Add color to the back of the acetate with permanent markers.
Fussy cut with scissors and adhere to the completed layout with Bookbinding Glue dispensed with a Needle-tipped Applicator.
Stamp and fussy cut a variety of cheese images in Earth and Sandstone Hybrid Inks and adhere to the page. Place a Foam Adhesive Circle on the back of the cheese slice to add a bit of dimension.
Cards - Color Burst Resist Technique
Assemble a variety of sentiments from both the Say Cheese and Wine Time Stamp sets on an 8x8 acrylic ruler. Apply Watermark ink to the stamps and lay a watercolor paper panel over the words.
Press firmly over the entire panel. Tip: The lid of an embossing powder jar rubbed over the panel will ensure a perfect image transfer.
Sprinkle the panel with white embossing powder and heat set to melt.
Set the panel into an open pizza box and dust with several Color Burst Pigment Powders.
Spritz lightly but evenly with water.
Remove any excess with a paper towel.
Set the panel aside to dry and repeat for a second panel.
Trim the panels to fit the front of each card and embellish with a stamped sentiment. Don't have a color to match your panels perfectly? Make a new color by adding two inks to one stamp. Here I combined Sapphire and India Ink to make a deep navy.
Let's take another look at the finished Deluxe Page Formula #1 projects.
Collaged Sentiment Stamping
Make two fabulous background panels with the collage of sentiment stamps paired with Sapphire and Mahogany inks.
Stamp focal artwork on watercolor panels with Ash ink. Add color details with watercolor markers or paints.
Repeated Image Stamping
Create all over prints on panels with stamps. Make sure to rotate the stamps after each impression.
Stamp cheese images in Tangerine and Earth Inks.
To create the focal artwork, stamp the cheese block in Earth ink. Add a cheese image on scrap paper, fussy cut, and lay over the first image to create a mask. Cover the cheese and stamp the wine glass to create the illusion that the glass is behind the cheese. The glass in front is stamped directly over the block of cheese.
To create "bleu cheese" stamp images in Sapphire Ink.
I loved how the Say Cheese Card Kit cutapart complimented the inside Wine Time sentiment. Too punny!
Bonus Card
Just for fun!
I hope you enjoyed seeing all the ways that these punny stamp sets pair so perfectly, Cheers!
