Create fun and fanciful cards with Whimsy stamps and a variety of techniques designed to suit all skill levels.

I think my favorite stamp from the bunch is the large collage image - as you will clearly see in my samples below.

Whimsy Stamps

Card 1

Dust the Blue panel with anti-static powder.

Stamp the large collage image with Watermark Ink.

Cover the image with black embossing powder.

Heat set the powder to melt.

Add doodling details with white gel pen.

Complete the card with a stamped sentiment in Lagoon Ink.

Card 2

Purchase and download the Triple Mat Card Formula. Follow the detailed cutting instructions to trim Pink, Orange, and Blue panels and a Green card base.

Ink the collage image with a variety of inks (Fuchsia, Tangerine, Leaf and Lagoon) and stamp onto a scrap paper panel (secured on a stamping platform).

Stack the white nesting panels and adhere them temporarily with a low tack adhesive. Place into the stamping platform over the stamped image.

Ink the stamp as before.

Press firmly over the stacked panels to transfer the image.

Separate the panels. Nest the white panels with the colored mats. Adhere a stamped sentiment onto the top panel.

Add Tropicale Shaker Confetti to the sentiment panel with Bookbinding Glue dispensed from a Needle-tipped Applicator.

Card 3

Add the flower clusters and foliage images to a white panel with India Ink.

Color the images with alcohol markers.

Trim Pink, Orange, Green, and Blue strips to .75x3.5". Adhere the strips to a black folded card base. Add a stamped sentiment heat-embossed with white EP.

Fussy cut the flowers and foliage and attach to the card with Bookbinding Glue in a Needle-tipped Applicator.

Card 4

Stamp the four corners of a folded Blue card base with the starburst image in Lagoon Ink.

Fill a Green panel with the foliage images stamped in Leaf Ink.

Add the sentiment to a white panel with India Ink. Add Lagoon Ink to the starburst image. Stamp off on a piece of scrap paper. Add the second generation image next to the sentiment.

Adhere the panel and sentiment to complete the card.

Card 5

Add Fuchsia, Tangerine, Leaf and Lagoon inks to the collage image. Tap the stamp lightly with an Ink Applicator Brush to blend the colors where they overlap.

Add the collage image to a white panel. Repeat the stamping process until desired color saturation is reached.

Stamp the sentiment over the image with India Ink.

Card 6

Ink the large collage image with a custom Rainbow Ink Pad. (Visit this post for details.) Stamp the image onto a white panel.

Stamp the perimeter of an Orange panel with the flower cluster image in Tangerine Ink. Ink the edges with Tangerine applied with an Applicator Brush.

Wrap a stamped sentiment with a pink cord (from my stash). Add foam adhesive circles to the sentiment and layer onto a pink mat to complete the card.

Card 7

Add Fuchsia, Tangerine, Leaf and Lagoon inks to the collage image. Mist lightly with water.

Stamp the image onto a white panel.

Cut a rectangle from the center of a nesting panel to create a window.

Adhere a piece of clear acetate to the back of the panel with Bookbinding Glue in a Needle-tipped Applicator.

Center the collage print panel onto the card, using an acrylic ruler as a guide.

Sprinkle Tropicale Shaker Confetti onto the center of the white stamped panel.

Add foam adhesive strips around the perimeter of the back of the window frame.

Remove the adhesive backing and carefully place over the confetti, centering it on the card.

At this point, I realized that the confetti would cover the stamped sentiment. Oops! The solution? Stamp the sentiment onto a Blue strip matted with white and adhere over the window.

I hope you enjoy creating with this stamp set as much as I have. Please make sure to share your artwork with us on the Club Scrap Chat Group on Facebook. Not a member of the group? Simply answer a few questions and we will accept your request in no time!
