Typeset Photo Twistabout
My daughter, Emma, attended the Scrapbooking Retreat at Silver Birch Ranch with me in November. She asked if I'd guide her through making a Photo Twistabout project featuring the Typeset Page Kit, and of course, I was delighted to help.
To replicate Emma's creation, gather a Typeset page kit and a Photo Twistabout Components kit in Black. Construct the project using the following paper assignments:
Paper A = Blue
Paper B = Green
Paper C = Gold
Paper D = Red
Paper E = Keys Print
Paper F = Letter Print
After the box is assembled, ink all exposed book board edges with India ink. The two solid side walls offer tons of decorating potential.
The two remaining sides of the spinning box are open, providing storage space for four mini albums. The metal ring hardware is functional as well as decorative. Tie lengths of ribbon onto the handles.
Each of the four individual books are covered in different prints and accented with different embellishments.
Emma created this project as a gift for her grandparents. Each of the four mini books focuses on a different family member. Let's take a look at some of the inside pages.
One book features photos of me and my husband, Mike.
Round tabs (from the Typeset File Folder Die Cut) topped with cutapart artwork add a fun touch to select pages.
The second book includes photos of Emma's older brother, Hunter, his wife, Elizabeth, and their son, Patrick. (My grand baby!)
The third mini book showcases photos of Emma and her boyfriend.
And finally, the fourth album includes memories of Emma's younger brother, Max, and his girlfriend, Emma Jo.
Now Grandma and Grandpa can enjoy this keepsake for years to come!
