I'm so thrilled about how the Turquoise collection came together. I mean, how can you go wrong with this beautiful color palette? The Gold paper is a gorgeous metallic cover stock you're going to adore!
A Note from Tricia
We're bracing ourselves for an epic year on the road. Karen and I will take turns attending expos/teaching workshops so we can continue to juggle our CS duties at home. Deb is poised to organize our inventory for the booth, and Jacqueline has been designing special collections for our workshops.
Just in case you didn't see it, here's the schedule . . .
The whole team will be working hard, and you can play a part, too! If possible, invite your friends to visit us at an expo near you, and give our new family members a warm welcome when they join us on the Club Scrap Chat group on Facebook. (Are you there, too? If not, come along!)
I've had the wonderful opportunity to teach workshops at my local stamp and scrapbook store. This gives me a great reason to create online video tutorials featuring fun projects. My latest Deluxe Card Formula #7 hit the "digital cart" last week, and it helps transform a card kit into two gift purses and a dozen cards. Check it out!
What's Ahead?
Yee-haw! The oft-requested Western collection is our next release! Please don't be too concerned about this being a limited theme. We've chosen a rich color palette and very neutral patterns to tie this kit to everyday life. Kick up your heels and watch for the March spoiler at the end of the month!
Inks and Fonts
Looking to create cards and projects with papers and CS® ink colors in this gorgeous palette? Be sure you have the following shades on hand: Lagoon, Red, Yellow, and Ocean.
Download the Mintsy and (ironically) the Turquoise font to coordinate your own page titles and sentiments with the cutaparts Jacqueline designed for this collection.
Turquoise Page Kit
I had so much fun putting the Turquoise pages together in the video tutorial. Check out this quick preview!
Turquoise Card Kit
Each card kit we release goes through a rigorous planning process. Initially, I sketch a plan in a graph notebook. Next, I trim the papers while making lots of notes. Finally, I map out a final vision, digitize the sketches, send them to Jacqueline for final art creation. Once completed, yet another round of prototypes are made to ensure everything falls into place. (And that's just the beginning!)

Turquoise Stamps
Has it been a while since you've used your embossing powders, ColorBurst powders, mists, watercolors and more? This sheet of clear stamps is primed for revisiting all your favorite neglected techniques. Later this month, we'll showcase the fun you can have with our gorgeous Turquoise stamps.
Tomorrow, we'll take a closer look at the Turquoise pages. See you then!
