The Artifacts Remix collection is available now! The original artwork made its debut in February of 2009. While the Refresh kit was the frontrunner in our March Madness contest, we decided to release the Artifacts kit, as well, and we're so happy we did!
The neutral color palette lends itself well to poolside and beach photos as well as anything "outdoorsy". Since we have a lot of newbies in our midst, I thought I'd prepare a video tutorial similar to my workshops held at expos. I'll help you put the papers in order, trim the papers and cutaparts, file the pieces by layout, and assemble. If you don't have a lot of time, watch the second video for a quick overview of how our method works...
Artifacts Remix Layouts
Here are the eight layouts you can make if you follow our free assembly instructions. Note: A link to the assembly instructions will be sent to you within your confirmation email after purchasing the collection.
LAYOUTS 1 & 2
I adore the four-pack of silver frog charms we found to complement the artwork. Tie one onto the 1/8" teal ribbon and wrap around the journaling prompt.
Create a three-part bow around the bottom portion of the Sand photo mat with the rust grosgrain ribbon.
LAYOUTS 3 & 4
If you have waxed linen thread in your stash, use it to stitch the three carved buttons to the Poppy panel on the left side of the layout. Alternatively, adhere the buttons to the page with CS® Bookbinding Glue.
Stitch the fourth button onto the journaling prompt on the right side of the page and tie the thread into a small bow.
LAYOUTS 5 & 6
Tie a sweet, little bow onto the frog charm and glue the bow/charm to the lower left corner of the Poppy mat.
Tuck the silver fish charm above the "remember when" caption on the white cutapart strip.
LAYOUTS 7 & 8
Nest the Poppy and Teal mats onto the "sun" cutapart, wrap the bottom with teal ribbon, and glue a carved button beneath the bow.
Glue a silver fish charm to the "rocked" title strip.
