I'm so happy to release the Sprinkles Card Kit this week. The collection springboards from two other recent card kits released in a brand new format.
The Sprinkles, Friendships, and Navigation card kits include 12x12 papers rather than pre-cut cards and panels. Instructions help you trim all of the papers into four each of three unique card styles. Follow the same cuts to make more cards from papers from your plentiful stash!
You'll make a shaker, split flap, and a 5x7" multi-mat card with our brand new set of instructions. Plus, this collection also includes two 12x12 prints, printed cutaparts, envelopes, and materials to make two bonus cards.
Card Set A
You'll need foam adhesive strips from your stash to complete the four shaker cards in this kit. We've included the transparency film and the cute little foam sprinkles. The video tutorial included with the kit will help you figure out the best way to create the shaker cards.
Because of the way the papers are trimmed, the colors are interchanged, thus adding more visual variety to each card style.
Card Set B
I tried to design cards that could be fashioned without the help of a scoring tool. This card base is folded in half, and the top flap is folded in half again. The Yellow flap on the right has a 1/2" score that can easily be made with a grid ruler. The instructions will indicate the best way to trim the paper so the grain direction will also be in cooperation with the folds.
The colorful mini spoons are so cute when tied onto the left flap of the card! Keep in mind that this feature may require additional postage for hand cancelling, or it's perfect for personal delivery to your favorite ice cream lover.
Card Set C
Check out all the nesting panels of various sizes on this card! I had a fun time figuring optimal cutting measurements to make that work. Some cards in this set will have more panels than others. I typically use a grid ruler to ensure each panel is centered properly onto the card base.
Use the twine to tie a mini spoon onto the left edge of the cutapart. Adhere the cutapart with foam adhesive to accommodate the thickness of the twine.
Bonus Cards
Lastly, you'll make two extra 3.5x5" cards, bringing the total to fourteen cards from just eleven sheets of paper. We've included the envelopes for your convenience, too!
I sincerely hope you like this new approach to making cards efficiently. If you haven't already, give it a go with the Sprinkles Card Kit just in time for summer, and visit yesterday's blog to see the rest of the Sprinkles collection!
