While surfing the pages of Pinterest I found a clever up-cycle idea for a cassette tape case.

I raided my stash of old cassettes that were just waiting to be altered.

Follow these steps to jazz up your own cassette stand.

1. Cut a 3/8x4" strip of Cantina Orange and a 1/4x4" strip from the Aqua Print. Layer together and add to the front of the stand.

2. Trim a piece of stamped patterned paper to 3-7/8 x 2-1/2" to fit on the inside of your stand. Check out my Cantina Blog Hop post for details on how I created the paper.

3. Cut the Cantina Aqua Print paper to 4-1/8 x 2" for the back of the stand. Note: I did not trim to match the angles on the cassette case.

The finished stand can be used vertically.

It can also be used horizontally.

This sturdy stand works great when you need to view items on your phone hands-free. Now, if I could just find a cassette player, I'd go listen to that old Richard Marx tape!
