If you are a member, you may have your Lakes Club Stamp kit by now. You'll find a little bag of round and circular sequins inside. They're perfect for a festive shaker card!
Follow these steps to create the card:
1. Trim a 5.5x8.5" piece of Dark Teal and fold in half to create a card base.
2. Use a trimmer to divide the 8.5x11 Text Weight Print into four individual sections of artwork.
3. Trim the darkest print to 4x5.25".
4. Nest the printed panel onto the card base; stamp, nest and adhere the birthday greeting.
5. Punch several 1/4" holes into the card base/panel to create added interest. The sequins are larger than the punched holes and will not fall through.
6. Trim a 4.25x5.5" Dark Teal panel; use a craft knife, cutting mat and ruler to remove the center to create a 1/2" frame.
7. Use double sided adhesive to attach a 4x5.25" transparency to the Dark Teal frame.
8. Trim strips of foam tape to fit within the frame.
9. Place the foam strips on top of the transparency and within the frame, covering the entire perimeter.
10. Place sequins on top of the matted card base.
11. Center the prepared frame onto the card.
