Create a batch of fun and clever "scrappy" cards with that pile of leftover papers that you can't seem to throw away.

Even with Tricia's super-efficient cutting instructions, we might have a few bits and pieces left over.

If you are anything like me, you might be tempted to keep all of those gorgeous Club Scrap paper scraps for use at a later date. Well, now's the time to transform them into something beautiful - grab some card bases, stamps and inks and let's get started!

(The finished size of each card below is 4.25x5.5", unless otherwise noted.)

Scrappy Cards - Reef

Gather all of the scraps on the work surface and sort them by size/type to determine how best to use them in finished cards.

Card 1

Trim a card panel to 4x5-1/4". Find the middle of the panel using the zero center on a cutting mat. Cut the three wide strips to 4". (Reserve the small piece trimmed from the Print to embellish the sentiment strip.) Adhere the printed strip to the center of the card panel. Add a Green panel on each side of the print leaving equal spacing between each.

Wrap the panel with a wide ribbon. Adhere to a white card base and embellish with a stamped sentiment and printed scrap.

Card 2

Adhere the 1/4" strips diagonally onto to copy paper.

Trim the excess and continue to adhere the strips to the paper in this manner until all the scraps are gone.

Place the finished piece horizontally into the paper trimmer and cut at 5-1/2". (Save the end cuts to use an an embellishment inside the finished card.)

Add a 4x5-1/4" panel to a card base. Adhere the striped panel to the mat, centered horizontally. Stamp the sentiment with Earth Ink.

Add the reserved corner pieces and a stamped sentiment to the inside.

Card 3

Gather the 1/2-3/4" strips and stamp Reef images onto the White with Watermark Ink.

Dust the wet ink with Perfect Pearls powders in Green and Bronze.

Buff the images with a soft cloth to remove any excess powder.

Adhere the strips to a 4x5-1/4" panel with Bookbinding Glue in a Needle-tipped Applicator, leaving a little space between each strip.

Adhere the finished panel to a white card base and embellish with ribbons and a stamped sentiment.

Card 4

Stamp the remaining 1-3/4x2" rectangle panels with Reef images. Adhere them to a white card base in a grid pattern. Stamp the Thinking of You sentiment with Spruce Ink. Embellish with Reef sequins.

Scrappy Cards - Coastal

Gather and sort the scraps on the work surface to help decide how to use them on the finished cards.

Card 1-2

Gather assorted narrow scraps and place onto the work surface, alternating the prints, colors and widths of the scraps.

Once you are satisfied with the arrangement, cover the back side of the first strip with Bookbinding Glue.

Adhere the strip to a piece of text weight or copy paper.

Continue to add strips to the paper in the desired pattern.

Trim the piece to the largest size possible.

I was able to trim my piece into three parts: Two 3-1/4x4-1/2 and one 1-3/4x8-1/2".

Adhere each panel onto a white card base. Embellish each with Harbor Town sentiments stamped with Ocean Ink. Add ribbons that coordinate with the papers.

Card 3 - 3-1/2x8-1/2" Slimline

Card 4

Gather the four 2x2-5/8" rectangles and adhere in a grid formation onto a white card base. Stamp the Coastal sentiment at the top of the 2-1/2x3-1/2" white panel with Ocean Ink. Wrap the ribbon around the bottom of the panel and center over the four rectangles on the front of the card. Embellish with sequins.
