Occasionally I stray off the efficient Assembly Line Scrapbooking path and use the Deluxe Kit in a more random fashion. The London Calling Green and Blue Prints seemed to be calling my name, so with the help of the Embellishment Pack Cutaparts I assembled a pair of layouts.

The Cutaparts always have options. Instead of using the 1, 2, and 3 printed squares as I normally would, I trimmed the 1 and 2 more closely so when put together they work for Marilee's twelfth birthday page.

This strip Cutapart below helps anchor my page and also has a nice printed quote.

The layout above also shows using a Cutapart in a different way. Its intended use is as an anchor strip that would run along the complete height of the page. Here I cut it down to 5" to match the photo size, then matted it with the photo.

One of the journaling Cutaparts was handy for tucking in under the photo as shown below.

After placing a cutapart strip above the large photo and adding a Thickers title, it was complete.

Whether you create your London Calling pages the ALSB way or in a more random fashion, I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll create! London is Calling, I must go!
