The Roost Podium Book was originally offered as a virtual workshop via the One of a Kind group on Facebook.
To build this project, purchase the Podium Book Class Along kit (or gather a Roost Page Kit and the Podium Book Components). The project instructions and a video tutorial link are included with your purchase.
To replicate Tricia's finished book, use the following paper assignments:
(2) Paper A = Brick
(2) Paper B = Brown
Paper C = Rooster Print
Paper D = Weather Vane Print
Paper E = Taupe Metallic
Paper F = Blue
Leftover papers can be trimmed for use as mats and other decorative elements throughout the album.
Roost Podium Book - A Photo Gallery
The finished album includes 32 inside pages with a unique binding. Each signature of the book is wired onto binder rings in the spine.
Pair a be-ribboned Cutapart with a printed panel to decorate the inside front cover.
Scroll down for a detailed "peep" at each two-page spread inside.
The book design allows a lot of flexibility to play "outside the lines" regarding placement of the photo mats and other embellishments.
Allow the mats and other embellishments extend slightly beyond the margins of each inside page. (Just make sure nothing extends beyond the front and back covers when the book is closed.)
Trim the Cutaparts as needed to customize the fit.
Fill a mini seed packet with scraps trimmed into tag shapes topped with ribbon.
Using a corner-rounder on select elements adds visual interest.
Don't be afraid to vary the mat sizes, too.
