Learn to make a pair of beautiful 5x7" books using folding board, any CS page kit, and our newest project download: Twin Trifold Album Instructions.
The downloadable instructions will guide you through the sorting, trimming and assembly process. Tricia will share helpful tips throughout the step-by-step video tutorial. When sorting the papers, you can choose to make two identical books, or mix things up a bit and create "fraternal twin" albums, like I did below.
Renewal Twin Trifold Albums
If you plan to make this project, begin by downloading the project instructions. You'll also need to gather the following:
CS® Page Kit of your choice, (2) 12x12 Folding Boards, CS® Bookbinding Glue, 12” Paper Trimmer, 3x14" Grid Ruler, Accordion Pocket File (optional), Bone Folder, (4) Closures of your choice.
I paired the Renewal Page Kit with dark kraft Folding Board to create a set two 5x7" interactive albums with three unique features.
Just as the "trifold" name indicates, the interior of the book is divided into three main sections.
The section on the left features two pamphlet-style fold-outs with four panels each.
The center section is made up of waterfall panels.
Finally, the right section of the trifold album features a pocket with a hook and loop closure.
The the pocket holds a removable trifold insert. The insert makes a great home for even more photos!
The Twin Trifold Album was initially introduced as a workshop for a past virtual event. Limited quantities of the original OOAK Class Along Kit (featuring the Regatta collection), are still available.
