Create a unique pixelated coloring style with the Pointillism Technique. I discovered this idea on Split Coast Stampers and immediately tested it with the High Tide Stamps.
Pointillism Technique
Stamp the octopus image onto white paper with Permanent Jet Black Ink (retired).
Add blue dots with a marker, beginning with the lightest color first.
Continue to fill the image with dots in shades of blue.
Add the deepest color of blue to the shaded areas of the stamped image to create depth and dimension.
Continue adding dark dotted shading until the desired look is achieved.
Complete the card with items from the High Tide Collection. Let's take another look at the finished card.
I also tried the technique with the mushroom cluster from the Forest Floor Stamps.
