Pair the Petals Remix page kit with Deluxe Card Formula 7 to create two adorable and totally tote-able purses and twelve greeting cards. (Each purse fits six cards with envelopes.)
Because it's a special release, Petals Remix includes four extra 12x12 papers in lieu of pre-cut photo mats. Having extra papers allowed me to create eight bonus cards!
After you purchase and download the instructions, gather a Page or Card Kit (or twelve sheets of paper), (12) A2 Envelopes and (8) Mini Brads from your stash.
Petals Remix Totes and Cards
To replicate my cards and totes, utilize the following paper substitutions for each step in the instructions:
- One each Dk. Green, Lt. Pink
- One Floral Print
- (2) Lt. Pink, (2) Dk. Green, (3) Lt. Green, (3) Dk. Pink
- (2) Script Print, (1) Floral Print
Once all of the trimming is completed, follow Steps 5 and 6 to assemble the two purses/totes.
Finally, sort and deal out the remaining components to build the basic structures for the first twelve cards. Adapt the cutaparts and embellishments as needed to decorate each card.
If needed, supplement the cutaparts with stamped sentiments.
Fill each tote with six cards and six A2 envelopes.
(8) Bonus Cards
You'll notice you have eight card bases and a number of panels left over. Combine these supplies to create eight bonus cards. You can add your favorite stamped sentiments, or trim greetings from the Kit No. 301 Word Art Strip. Create interesting mosaic backgrounds from printed and plain strips left over from the trimming process.
