Are you ready for some Peony stamps inspiration?

This elegant 6x8" sheet of clear photopolymer stamps provides endless creative opportunity. Gather a Peony POP (pack of panels), inks, a few simple embellishments and let's get busy creating!

I had so much fun making this beautiful batch of simple cards using minimal supplies. Follow along as I share details and tips about each individual card below.

Card 1

Stamp a large peony blossom repeatedly onto a white panel with Carnation ink. Mat with Pink Metallic and adhere to a 4.25x5.5" Dark Pink card base. Stamp sentiment onto Light Pink, double-mat with White and Dark Pink. Create a loop of double-faced satin ribbon and tape to the back of the panel. Center nested sentiment onto card front with foam adhesive

Card 2

I just love this simple and elegant white-on-white look. This clever assembly can be done with any assorted images. These are the steps I followed:

Begin by measuring the bud. You can fit three pieces 1.25" wide into the space. Stamp the bud onto three 1.25x2.75" white panels with Fuchsia, Carnation and Leaf inks. Next, measure the height of the larger sentiment. Stamp onto a 1.5x4" panel. Lastly, determine the remaining open space on the card with a grid ruler: .75x4". Stamp the "thinking of you" sentiment onto the smallest panel and arrange onto the card with foam adhesive.

Card 3

Nest a torn dictionary page panel onto a 4x5.25" Dark Pink mat. Stamp peony blossoms and leaves onto a separate piece of White and trim with detail scissors. Once attached to the panel, remove excess with a paper trimmer. Stamp the sentiment onto Light Pink, trim into sections, and ink the edges lightly. Adhere to the card with bookbinding glue. Layer the panel onto a 4.25x5.5" Light Pink folded card base.

Card 4

Stamp peony blossom with the "Brushless Watercolor" technique: Mist stamp image with water, add pink watercolor crayon, and mist with water again before stamping on a white panel. Tear edges; add layered mats and attach to a 4.25x5.5" Dark Pink card base. Add a sweet hand-tied bow.

Card 5

Temporarily adhere a 2.75x4" White panel onto a 3.5x4.75" panel. Stamp the images across both panels with black ink. A "ghosted" effect will occur. No problem! After shading the smallest stamped piece with watercolors, nest onto a 4-1/8x2-7/8 Green panel. This disguises the gap in the image. Center onto the larger stamped White panel, and nest with more contrasting colors before adhering to a 4.25x5.5" Green folded card base.

Card 6

Begin with a 5x7" Pink Metallic card base. Add vertical score lines to a 3x7" white panel every 3/8" using a ScorPal for a clever and inexpensive way to add texture. Stamp a peony blossom and leaf onto a 2.75" square with Carnation and Leaf inks. Add the sentiment using India ink. Mat with Dark Pink and Green panels and accent with ribbon.

Card 7

This is a fun way to use the smaller blossoms on the stamp sheet. Combine with the music background from the Beautiful Noise stamp sheet.

For curious minds, here are the measurements.

Squares: (9) 1-1/8" White (stamped), (9) 1-1/4" Lt. Pink, 4x4" Metallic Pink, 4-1/8" White

Rectangles: .75x3.75" White (stamped), 7/8x3-7/8" Lt. Pink, 1x4" Metallic Pink, 1-1/8x4-1/8" White

Liberally use foam adhesive to adhere the nested elements and adhere the whole works to a 4.25x5.5 Metallic Pink folded card base.

Card 8

This 5x7" card is intended to have a more masculine feel. Create a 4.75x6.75" panel from a torn dictionary page and adhere to a Green card base. Stamp the leaf image onto Green plain with white pigment ink. Mat with black. Loop two lengths of waxed linen cord through a green button and wrap around the black panel; secure the ends with tape. Add sentiments to complete the card.
