Create a simple but elegant Peony photo card featuring a hybrid sentiment and papers from the May collection.

I took a photo of my Rubens Clematis blooming on an arbor in my back yard and altered it with the addition of a digital sentiment. Simply print the photo, and it becomes the focal image on the front of this lovely 5x7" card.

Peony Photo Card

Open the digital sentiments file (0521PeonyCSD_Printable13.png) in the Peony Hybrid Collection with photo editing software. I work with Pixelmator Pro. Highlight the sentiment with a rectangular selection tool. Select Edit and then Copy the sentiment.

Open the floral photo in a separate tab and paste the sentiment on the photo. This sentiment will now be a second Layer over the photo. Move the sentiment to the desired position and export as a .jpg file.

Print the photo on glossy 4x6" paper.

Nest the photo onto a 4.25x6.25" Lt. Pink panel.

Trim 6" lengths of Peony ribbon in three different colors and widths. Layer the ribbons with adhesive and wrap around the left side of the matted photo.

Add a bit of ATG adhesive to the ribbons and secure on the back of the panel. Cover the back of the Lt. Pink panel with Foam Adhesive Circles to accommodate the added bulk created by the layering of the ribbons.

Remove the backing from the circles and adhere to complete the card.

I love how the Peony Card Print mimics the colors in the soft pink petals of the Clematis in my photo.
