I love handmade books. After making the Western Mini Accordion Hinge Album I shared last month, I decided to make a Pacific Northwest mini book as well!
This adorable mini measures 3.5x5", so the sweet size is perfect for wallet-sized photos, artist trading cards, and more. It's made using just seven 12x12 papers and Club Scrap's downloadable project instructions.
With 38 pages inside (not counting the front and back covers), it holds quite a few photos! This one showcases my dad's nature photography.
There were so many photos, it turned out quite "chunky"!
The Accordion Hinge spine structure is clever and unique, but easy enough for the beginner paper crafter to accomplish. I just love how it looks all put together!
Here is a tour of just a few of the inside pages:
Decorate the inside spine/binding area with Cutapart artwork and sentiments.
Trim additional mats from the Pacific Northwest Pack of Panels, if needed.
This Pacific Northwest mini book makes a great gift. Do you think Dad will like it? (Interested in more of my dad's nature photos? Check out his Facebook page, Michael's Walkabout.)
Happy book making!
