Friday was another awesome virtual expo! Tricia shared a brand-new project formula that transforms any page kit into a beautiful handmade book. I'm excited to share the Accordion Hinge Album I made using the On the Cape Page kit.
The album measures 5x7" making it ideal for showcasing 4x6" photos from a special trip or event. The most intriguing thing about this book is the way the spine works.
Not only is it beautiful to look at, the unique construction is quite functional. The inside pages could be removable, if desired.
If making the pages removable isn't important to you, you can have fun adhering mats and/or cutaparts to the spine flaps for added interest.
Many of the border and title strip cutaparts can be trimmed to fit the inside pages. Here's a little tour of some of the inside pages of the finished book:
Isn't that charming? I just love how this project comes together! Utilize an entire Club Scrap page kit to make a unique handmade book with very little waste. This On the Cape version will be perfect for preserving Dad's many photos of lighthouses along the Great Lakes.
So many ideas, so little time! Visit my blog to see a Baby Baby version, and be sure to check out Tricia's video (included in the project instructions) to see even more samples made from various Club Scrap kits.
What special occasion will YOU scrap in your Accordion Hinge Album? Inspire others by sharing your finished book on the Club Scrap Chat Facebook group.
Happy book making!
