National Scrapbooking Day was May 5th, and to celebrate I had the honor of hosting five pop-up challenges on the Club Scrap Chat Group on Facebook.

The challenges went live during the day on Saturday and ended one week later. I was thrilled with the level of participation!

Let's take a look at the challenges along with my samples. Monochromatic: Page created with shades of one color. This layout features shades of purple from A Night at the Met, Raku, and Lavender Fields.

Metallic: Pages created with metallic elements. I added some Idea-ology embellishments and tarnished gold brads to this Woven Strands double page spread.

Petals: A page created with flowers. I paired Raku papers with a stenciled Wild Rose 8.5x11 Super Smooth White Cover Stock anchor paper.

Sketch: Pages based on the May Bonus Page Formula sketch. The Lavender Fields collection played a starring role in this double page spread. I created a homemade lavender sprig stencil with my Scan N Cut machine and made embellishments with the lavender blossoms removed from the stencil.

Mask/Stencil: Page created with a Club Scrap mask/stencil. This layout features the Woven Strands collection. I inked the mask with Distress Inks (Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles) and Fuschia Hybrid Ink.
