Meadow Page Formula Sketch

Meadow Bonus Page Formula Sketch

The Meadow Bonus Formula creates a two-page spread from just five sheets of paper. Creating a layout is simple when you follow the steps below:

  1. Gather five coordinating papers (a mix of prints and plains).
  2. Follow the cutting diagrams and instructions on the printable document.
  3. Dry fit the trimmed pieces onto the base papers, using the sketch as your guide.
  4. Once you are satisfied with the arrangement, assemble the layout using your favorite adhesive.
  5. Select photos and crop to fit the mats. (The 8x8" grid ruler is a must-have for this!)

Meadow Bonus Layout - Tricia

To replicate Tricia's pages, use the following paper assignments from the Meadow collection: Card Kit Print (Paper A), Orange Plain (Paper B), Brown (Paper C), and two Gold (Paper D).

Utilize the nested narrow strip as a handy spot for journaling.

More journaling tells the story. A white gel pen is perfect for writing on dark papers.

October Bonus Formula Layout - Karen

I decided to "remix" the color palette a bit by pairing the Meadow Ivory Print with coordinating papers from two other collections. A few extra rounded corners - along with slight shifts in the placement of the long, narrow elements - adds a personalized touch to my layout.

To create a layout like mine, gather the following papers: Sea Green (Paper A), Brick Plain (Paper B), Meadow Ivory Print (Paper C), and two Brown Plains (Paper D).

A single 3-1/4 x 5-7/8" photo fits across both 3x3.5" mats. Round the corners of a Sea Green scrap, creating a spot for journaling.

The three vertical mats stumped me at first. Without resizing the actual photos, I really didn't think I had anything to fit the space. After giving it some thought, I trimmed a 4x6 horizontal photo in half to create two vertical photos. Cropping each to 2-3/4 x 3-5/8" allowed me to center them across the three mats.

On page 2, trim a horizontal photo to fit the open space at the bottom of the layout. Use the right edge of the 3x2.5" mat to determine the height of the cropped photo.
