Tricia taught the Petite Book Duo workshop as a class on the VOLUME Facebook group last weekend. I love this project because it's a "two-fer" - with the purchase of the downloadable instructions, you can make TWO mini books from a single kit!
I paired the virtual workshop instructions with the Mariachi Page Kit, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results!
Mariachi Petite Book Duo
In addition to the supplies included in your page kit, you'll need a 12x12 Mat Board and a few other basic tools and supplies.
Each book measures 4.75x5.25". The unique u-hinge spine structure features a 1/4" gap between pages to allow for expansion. You'll have plenty of room to load up the inner pages with photos and embellishments.
Follow the instructions (and/or the video tutorial) to assemble the book structure. After assembly, use the remaining paper and embellishments to decorate the book as desired. (A list of paper substitutions can be found at the bottom of this post.)

Book One
Decorate the interior and exterior of the finished books with Cutaparts and other embellishments. Adhere a foil gem to the center of the silver charm with bookbinding glue. Tie around the cutapart with black jute twine.
Trim sentiments and border strips as needed to fit the size of the pages.
Book Two
During book assembly, add two lengths of ribbon to create a closure. A fabric rose adds dimension to the album cover.
Select six pre-cut photo mats for each book; trim to 4-1/8x4-1/4" and adhere to the back of each tri-fold page.
And there you have it: Yet another fabulous way to use your Club Scrap Page kits, and it's a two-for-one!
