Create gorgeous cards with the Legacy Stamps. This month, I'm featuring one of my favorite techniques. "kissing". I had fun pairing the various images and sentiments from this month's collection with Club Scrap Hybrid Inks in Mahogany, Ocean, Fuchsia, Carnation, as well as India Black.

Apply Mahogany Hybrid Ink to the solid quatrefoil image.

Align the paisley design stamp with the inked stamp and press gently to "kiss" the surface.

This action lifts the ink from the solid image and transfers it to the patterned image.

Stamp the solid quatrefoil on to a Pink Metallic panel.

Continue to add more kissed images using the other stamp designs to create a background.

Card 2

Repeat the kissing technique explained above using the quatrefoil images with white pigment ink on black.

Card 3

Add Carnation ink to the solid quatrefoil image and stamp onto a white panel.

Using a stamping platform (or other stamp positioning tool), align the large floral quatrefoil over the solid image stamp.

Close the hinged portion of the  stamp positioning tool to "pick up" the floral stamp.

Open the platform. Apply Mahogany ink to the image and close the lid to stamp over the solid image.

Stamp the outline quatrefoil onto a separate panelcf. Cut around the outline with a craft knife and remove from the panel to create a positioning template.

Lay the template opening over the stamped panel, aligning the artwork.

Lay the outline stamp face down on the template. It will sit inside the opening snugly and ensure proper placement of the stamp over the image.

Close the clear lid to pick up the outline stamp. Remove the template and dust the stamped panel with an antistatic powder. Add Embossing Ink to the outline image and close the platform to stamp over the top of the existing art.

Sprinkle silver embossing powder over the wet ink and heat set to melt.

Add a stamped sentiment to complete the panel.

Card 4

Stamp the three quatrefoil designs onto a Teal panel using White Pigment Ink. Dust with white embossing powder and heat set to melt.

Pour a small amount of Lagoon Stipple Mist from the bottle into a paint palette. Dip a brush in water and then into the Stipple Mist; paint over the white embossed images. Wipe away any excess color using a damp cloth or paper towel.

Card 5

Add Watermark Ink to the flower trio image and stamp repeatedly onto a Teal panel.

Use Ocean ink to stamp the outline image onto a Sky Blue scrap. Add the detail images to the top and bottom of the quatrefoil.

Stamp the sentiment inside the open area of the quatrefoil. Fussy-cut the image. Add Nuvo Drops to the detail design for a bit of sparkle.

Adhere to the floral background panel.

Card 6

Add Ocean ink to the floral trio image and apply the paisley quatrefoil stamp using the "kissing" technique to lift some of the color. Stamp the image diagonally across a white panel. Add the sentiment.

Card 7

Create a background panel by mixing both traditional stamping and "kissing" techniques using Mahogany, Carnation, and Ocean Inks.

Use Mahogancy ink to stamp the outline image onto a Red Metallic panel. Add the sentiment and detail image using the same color ink.

Fussy-cut the shape and adhere to the panel using foam adhesive.

Finish by adding a rhinestone embellishment with Bookbinding Glue applied with a Needle-tipped Applicator.

Card 8

Use embossing ink to stamp several quatrefoil images across a white mixed media panel. Sprinkle the wet images with white embossing powder; heat set to melt. Add a rainbow of Stipple Mist colors (Cherry, Cantaloupe, Sunflower, Leaf Green, Lagoon and Lavender) to a paint palette. Dip a brush first in water, then mists, to add a wash of color to the panel.

Once color has been added to the entire panel, buff the embossed images with a damp cloth or paper towel to remove any excess.

Stamp the sentiment using India Ink.

Card 9

Stamp scraps of paper repeatedly with different images.

Trim paper into strips and adhere to the front of Metallic Red panel. Stamp a sentiment in India ink over a kissed flower panel.

Embellish with a simple knotted ribbon from the Hot Summer collection.

I really hope you continue to be inspired by my cards each month. Please join us over on the Club Scrap Chat Group on Facebook and share your stamped artwork with us.
