While building the Lavender Fields pages, I was quite pleased to find that virtually nothing from the collection was left behind! Create the eight layouts shown below, exactly as you see them, by following our assembly instructions. (Or, do your own thing. We're totally cool with that, too.)

If you don't mind taking an extra moment or two, cut around the image of the lavender bucket with detail scissors and adhere to the page with foam adhesive. Fray the edges of the journaling prompt with a paper distressing tool, and wrap with lavender lace. The lace is quite wide and can be folded in half to make it appear as a double layer.

Adhere the gorgeous lavender flower buds with our awesome bookbinding glue. (I don't scrap without it!)

The drawstring bag makes such an eye-catching embellishment, regardless of whether or not you place something inside. (I think some sprigs of actual lavender would be fabulous!) If you have a 2 or 2.25" circle punch or die, use it to shape the cutapart and adhere to the bag with foam adhesive circles. Top it off with a flower bud.

Fold a 3" piece of lace in half and tuck behind the nested photo mat on the right side of the spread.

Thread the twisted raffia through the holes of the wood painted buttons, tie in a knot, and unravel the ribbon. Adhere the buttons to the border strip with bookbinding glue.

Trim each line of the phrase from the cutapart sheet with scissors, allowing natural angles to be formed as dictated by the shape of the words. Apply Amethyst ink to the outside edge of each phrase with an ink applicator and glue onto the right edge of a cutapart. Wrap the left edge with untwisted raffia and finish with a flower bud gem.

See the lace peeking out on the left and right edges of the border strip? Get extra mileage from the lace by cutting it in half along the center seam. Simply adhere the cut edges of the lace to the back of the cutapart. Punch a 1/4" hole into the "stop and smell the lavender" tag and thread onto the string of a drawstring bag. Round the top two corners of the "beautiful thing" cutapart and slide into the bag.

Once completed, the only thing left to be placed will be your photos!

Enjoy your "time in the fields."
