One of the best tools we provide each month comes in the form of a little download you receive with your membership. It's the "Layout Formula." Keep it on hand to help you jumpstart your scrapbooking with *any* paper collection!

...and the layout it helped create in just minutes.

We are fortunate to live on Wisconsin's largest inland body of water, Lake Winnebago. Flanagan "helps" Cliff navigate the boat by taking his perch on the front of the open bow. I can't help taking photos of our furry first mate. I used "mistable" Thickers from the Picnic Lite collection to create my title. It turns out they're also "inkable" and "outline-able".

I have one metal alphabet die that I adore for its legibility and neutral font. I adhered the Dark Teal letters to Mint "flags" made with the help of the stencil we included in the Come Sail Away collection in April of 2012.

The round sequins were evenly spaced onto the border strip with the help of a grid ruler, and then topped with glitter glue.

A few remaining open areas of the page were completed with a bit of stamping. I figure Lake Winnebago is always a good idea as long as winds are less than 15 mph and the sun is shining.
