As a member of the Greetings to Go club, I have looked for ideas to adapt the cards to be appropriate for my almost 10 and 6-year-old grandkids. The Pattern Play kit was the perfect fit with its bright colors, bold graphics, and fancy folds.

Kids Set 1: Z Fold Cards

This set of cards was already great for kids with appropriate sentiments. The addition of a little bling and the stamped "One in a Melon" sentiment from the Picnic collection added just the right touch.

Add a little glitter glue and a popped-up leaf for added dimension.

Kids Set 2: Pop Up Cards

This set of cards really pops! Follow Tricia's handy video to assemble them with ease. Add some interest to the front card panels with a selection of stencils, stamps, jewels and glitter glue.

For another kid friendly idea, print out riddles and jokes with their answers onto white paper. Free Jokes and Riddles Download Create a flap with each of the decorative panels on the inside pop-up areas. These jokes and riddles can be adjusted based on the ages of recipients.

Attach the questions to the outside of three of the decorative panel flaps and hide the answers beneath.

Kids Set 3: Tag Cards

I really loved the tag cards but I need two of everything so that each grand child won't feel left out.

Make two additional tags for the outside card panel by tracing the tags included in the kit onto coordinating paper. Add sentiments from the Picnic stamp set. Run the Dk. Gray panels through an embossing machine to add texture to appeal to the tactile nature of kids.

Print a "What am I?" riddle and attach to the inside of each card.

Hide the answer under the green tag on the front of each card.

The Lagoon, Boardwalk, Picnic, Paradise and Big Top collections are just a few themes that would work great for kids cards. I can't wait to send these fun cards to my special kids!
