Hooray Bonus Formula Sketch

The April Bonus Formula creates a fun two-page spread that holds eight or more photos. To make the layout, gather five 12x12 papers - a mix of prints and plains. Follow the trimming instructions on the printable document, then assemble the layout using the sketch as your guide.

April Bonus Formula Layout - Karen

To create a layout like mine, gather the following papers: Pink Plain (What's Up, Buttercup? - Paper A), along with Hooray Green (Paper B), and Black Print (Paper C). Two Yellow Plains form the base of the two-page spread.

For the left side, trim the title strip (Hooray Page Kit Cutaparts) to 5/8" wide so it nests onto the matted strips at the bottom of the page.

On the right, a bit of rearranging makes space for a vertical photo (rather than horizontal as shown in the sample). Trim the "Life" cutapart to fit into the open space in the lower left corner.

Hooray Bonus Layout - Tricia

To replicate Tricia's pages, use the following paper assignments from the Hooray collection: Green Plain (Paper A), Yellow Plain (Paper B), and Card Kit Print (Paper C). Two Blue Plains create the base of the spread.

Crop a photo to fit the open space in the lower left corner of the page. Use our handy 8x8 grid ruler to help with measuring and placement.

The banner makes a handy spot for journaling.

I'm quite tickled with how well  both sets of pages turned out. What do you think?
