Create more Harbor Town pages with the help of the July Bonus Formula. I enjoy finding ways to incorporate the coordinating stamps to embellish my layout.
Harbor Town Pages
Gather plain papers from the Harbor Town collection as indicated in the July Page Formula.
Assembly Tips
Trim the three 12x12" papers according to the cutting instructions: Green (Paper A), Red (Paper B), Blue (Paper C), and two White (Paper D).
Refer to the sketch to dry fit the trimmed pieces.
Gather scrap fibers from past kits (Hot Summer and Coastal) to coordinate with the Harbor Town color palette.
Tie a knot in each piece and wrap the ends around the vertical anchor strip.
Secure the ends of the ribbons on the back with clear tape.
Trim two pieces of the white checkered ribbon with swallowtails and tuck underneath the Blue photo mat on the right page.
Utilize the Grid Ruler to help align the three matted squares on the right page. Find the zero center on the ruler and place the center square first.
Adhere the remaining two squares leaving equal spacing between them.
Create Stamped Accents
Select stamps to enhance the pages. Club Scrap's clear stamps make it easy to visualize how the images/sentiments will appear on the finished layout.
Add the images directly to the base paper with the help of a stamping platform. Stamp the houses with Ash and the sentiment in Sapphire. Color the houses with alcohol markers.
Add a second sentiment on the right page with Leaf Ink.
Finishing Touches
Before cropping your photos, dry fit them over each mat until you are satisfied with arrangement.
Trim a single photo to 3-1/4x5-7/8" to span both Green mats at the bottom of the right page.
Crop the remaining photos to fit each mat.
