I'm not one of those people that starts the countdown to Christmas starting in June. However, I noticed there were a number of cool projects available in the outlet that would make awesome gifts. Starting at just $2.98, these projects will help you keep your holiday shopping on budget. Are you ready to tour the outlet with me?
TWINCHIE ALBUM
I had the privilege of teaching this project at a past Retreat. It's great for storing twinches or instagram prints.
TWINCHIE ALBUM COMPONENTS
Not just for twinchies, the components also make adorable mini albums when wrapped in papers from your stash. I made one with Cantina papers to house 4x4 prints of my instagram photos...
...and Tricia used the components to make a cute mini for the Pattern Play blog hop. Check it out--it's super cute!
MEMENTO HOLDER
There are so many great uses for the Memento Holder that it would be a wonderful gift idea for just about anyone on your list. After two years, I still use my (Wildflower) Memento Holder as a garden journal.
It's a great way for me to store photos of the garden's progress and the pockets keep seed packets where I can find them.
I even stitched in a few extra sheets of graph paper so I can plot out my square foot veggie garden each year. (Crop rotation is so important to an organic garden!)
My daughter snagged the Bookshelves version for herself. An avid reader, it helps her track the books she's read, keep notes and create a wish list of books she wants to buy.
EASY DOZEN ALBUM WORKSHOP KIT
The Easy Dozen Album is another past Retreat project I enjoyed teaching. The kit contains everything you need to complete a 11 x 8.5" landscape album and twelve layouts.
The bright, cheery colors are great for scrapping nearly any occasion.
EASY DOZEN ALBUM COMPONENTS
The landscape style of this album is fun and unique. I used the components, paired with elements from the (now extinct) Hypno collection, to create this cute ABC book for a friend's son.
You can also visit this blog post to see a version of this album made from the Literature collection.
POP-UP BOX
Okay, I'll admit my Pop-up Box kit is still in the package. But Kay did some wonderful things with hers, so I'm totally inspired to make one. (I hope you are, too!)
Well, I don't know about you, but I'm off to shop the outlet so I can get started on this year's gifts early. (Hey, one can dream, right?)
Happy scrapping!
