There's nothing better than having "just the right card," and the Golden Hour Cards are sure to fit the bill for countless occasions!
If you haven't had a chance, be sure to watch the Facebook "Kit Unboxing" video for a full tour of the fun cards you'll create this month. We typically make a total of twelve greetings from a collection, but this month we've included two bonus cards (with envelopes)!
Card Set A
After settling on these nifty (and super-thin) gold sun charms, we also decided to include a generous length of yellow cord. It's perfect for attaching the charms in an eye-catching way. In fact, we love this cord so much, we have it available in a 50-meter roll in ten different colors!
Card Set B
I love this "split flap" card structure. There is a decorative panel nesting on each of the large flap areas, and a skinny flap to showcase the sentiment on the outside and inside of the card. The strategically placed sequin and ribbon invite the recipient to open the flap. This sentiment has an unexpected match, and it makes me giggle every time.
Card Set C
The set of four 5x7" cards consist of a basic single fold with tons of color incorporated through multiple nesting panels. Use your grid ruler to help with alignment, as some of the margins are wide and crooked placement will be noticeable.
My favorite element is the use of a large sequin. Simply remove the hanging hole from the sequin with a paper trimmer. Next, adhere the cut side to the top edge of the cutapart with Bookbinding Glue. Add sequins to the inner sentiments in the same fashion.
Card Set D
The bonus cards are 3.5x5" and perfect for a quick note of cheer. Keep your stash of assorted scraps from the paper trimming steps handy, and incorporate them whenever possible.
