I was thrilled to make cards featuring the Fun and Games stamps for the February spoiler. I immediately dug through my stash and found a few embossing folders and dies that would work well with the theme.

Fun and Games Stamps

The images and sentiments of the February collection are truly fun to play with. I love that the "Sorry!" stamp has two sentiment pairing options for added versatility.

Card #1

Fun and Games stamps Card 1

For the first card, add texture to the black panel using a numbers embossing folder. Highlight the raised areas with India ink. Add a strip of red glitter washi tape to the upper third of the panel. Stamp the "Sorry!" artwork onto plain white using Red CS® hybrid ink.

Stamp the sentiment in white pigment onto a die cut banner and attach using foam adhesive circles.

Card #2

Stamp the "Sorry!" artwork onto plain white, trim using a stitched circle die. Mat with a red die cut circle. Stamp game piece onto a plain white panel using Yellow, Red, Sapphire and Moss hybrid ink. (Don't forget to clean the stamp thoroughly when switching colors.) Add a strip of red glitter washi tape. Stamp the sentiment in India ink onto a red die cut banner. Attach using foam adhesive for dimension.

For the inside, stamp "Happy Birthday" in Red onto a white panel, then again onto a sticky note or other material to create a mask. Cover the sentiment with the mask and stamp the game piece three times, overlapping the mask slightly. (I used Sapphire, Yellow and Moss ink.)

Card #3

Add texture to a red panel using a numbered embossing folder. Stamp "Age is just a number..." onto a plain white panel, trim using a stitched circle die.

Mat stamped sentiment with red and black die cut shapes. Adhere to the card front so it extends past the edge of the card base. Trim excess with scissors.

Card #4

Add texture to a red panel using a checker board embossing folder. Highlight the raised areas with India ink. Create a die cut checker game piece using black plain; attach to the red panel. Stamp the King chess piece and "King for the Day" sentiment onto plain white using India ink. Trim the sentiment using a stitched circle die and mat with a red circle. Fussy cut the stamped chess piece. Create a collage on the red panel by attaching the trimmed elements using foam adhesive.

Stamp the chess piece and "Happy Birthday" inside the card.

Card #5

Add texture to a black panel using a checker board embossing folder. Highlight the raised areas using White Pigment ink. Tie with a length of black ribbon.

Stamp the sentiment using India ink. Over-stamp with the splatter image (04.16 Dahlia Jumbo UM stamps) using Ash hybrid ink. Cut using a stitched circle die; adhere to a red die cut shape. Attach to the card front using foam adhesive.

Card #6

Add texture to a red panel using a numbered embossing folder. Stamp the King and Queen game pieces in the center of a white panel. Stamp both again onto sticky notes or other material to create masks. Place the masks over the stamped artwork. Ink the checker board image with Red ink, and stamp onto the panel over the masked areas. Next, ink the same stamp with India ink, rotating the artwork 90 degrees. Stamp again over the masks, filling in the white space to create a red and black checker board. Remove the masks, add the sentiment and tie with black ribbon. Mat with Taupe metallic and attach to the embossed red panel.

I hope my cards inspire you to book a play date with the Fun and Games stamps. Be sure to share your creations on the Club Scrap Chat Facebook group. We love to see your work!
