Earlier this week I paired the notecard holder instructions with the Full of Scrap card kit. It turned out so well, I couldn't resist trying it again to make a Friendships notecard carrier. This cute project is home to eight cards with envelopes. It makes an awesome gift!
The Friendships card kit includes eleven plain papers, ribbons, cutaparts and a fun dotted washi tape. I really wanted a pretty print to decorate the outside of the folio, so I grabbed two Friendships Teal Botanical prints (from the page kit) to supplement the kit contents.
Follow the instructions download to trim papers and 12x12 black folding board. The folding board base makes the folio extra sturdy.
Inside, tabs with hook and loop dots keep the cards and envies where they belong. No spills!
Trimmed papers produce the decorative panels and interior pockets of the folio, as well as card bases and nesting panels. Mix and match the elements to build the framework for eight cards.
Combining the card kit cutaparts with embellishments and scraps from the trimming process makes for endless decorating possibilities. Aren't they beautiful?
Trim a few narrow strips with scissors to create banner shapes to decorate the cards.
This collection is just so darned PRETTY. There's really no wrong way to put these cards together! Who wouldn't love to receive a Friendships notecard carrier?!? Visit my personal blog to see the second project I made.
If you're looking for a quick 'n easy (yet impressive) gift idea, this is it!
Happy crafting!
