After promoting one of the Special Edition Project downloads over the weekend, we received a number of inquiries as to how to replicate Tricia's Farm Critters Notecard Carrier sample.

The project instructions are available for download in our hybrid store. Follow the instructions to make the carrier as well as card bases and panels for eight A2 cards. Visit Tricia's blog post to see additional Notecard Carrier finished samples.

Be sure to watch Tricia's step-by-step video tutorial for valuable assembly tips. You can find the link embedded in the instructions PDF.

Farm Critters Notecard Carrier Details

To complete the project, gather one 12x12 Black Folding Board, two pairs of Hook and Loop Dots, and seven 12x12 papers from any page or card kit. Tricia used the following paper assignments to make the Farm Critters Notecard Carrier:

  • (2) 12x12 Plains (same color) = Blue
  • 12x12 Print (A) = Blue Print
  • 12x12 Print (B) = Green Print
  • (3) 12x12 Plains (different colors) = 1 each of Red, Green, White

After trimming the papers, follow the instructions to complete the carrier. The assembled card bases and panels become a blank slate for adding your creative touch. Tricia used the (now-extinct) Farm Critters stamps to add artwork and sentiments to the finished cards. However, you could use the cutaparts included in the page kit, or substitute printables from the Farm Critters hybrid kit.
