The Falling Leaves Page Formula is a beauty! The left side of the layout provides a nine-square grid ready for photos and plenty of embellishments. I used a combo of five cropped photos, stamped images, and coordinating finds from my stash to finish the page.
As always, a CS® membership includes a downloadable Bonus Page Formula. It's a page recipe that includes precise paper trimming instructions to help you use your existing stash. This spread requires three 12x12s in different colors, plus a 12x12 for the base of each page.
Falling Leaves Page Formula
For my layout, I used the following papers from the Falling Leaves collection: A - Ivory Texture, B - Orange, C - Red, D - (1) Brown Plain and (1) Brown Print. The combination of papers was perfect for scrapbooking Emily's senior photos.
The quotes on the Falling Leaves stamp sheet were just right for this layout theme! I balanced the sentiment with a pretty bow made from the metallic gold ribbon included in the page kit.
I'd found some adorable miniature kraft bags at Hobby Lobby a few years ago, and filled one with a manila tag stapled with red ribbon. Stamp the bag with a sentiment, add a die cut leaf, and balance the square with three dragonfly brads. If you want to make something similar but don't have access to the mini bag, fashion one from a recycled grocery bag.
Embellish one square with a stamped sentiment and leaf. Add shades of brown, red and yellow to the leaf with watercolor pencils and blend with a water brush.

P.S. For those of you who have watched my Emily grow up through the years, she graduated from UW-Madison in the spring and was hired as a full time interior architect for Smithgroup's Madison office. We are so proud of her, and I love that she gets to work in such an exciting creative field!
