There's no question the Falling Leaves layouts are stunning. However, like many of our themes, folks may get stuck if they lack traditional "fall" photos. I scrapped four different occasions on my pages - and only one two-page spread features autumnal photos!
What would an outdoorsy kit be without at least a handful of Dad's gorgeous nature photos?
This photograph of a great egret nestles perfectly across two smaller mats on the left page.
I had some fun with the next two pages. A little play on words, if you will. These rappelling and ziplining photos worked beautifully!
I "fell" for you - get it? And by covering the last few words on the cutapart, the sentiment becomes "You are never too old to play".
No autumn pics here, folks - clever placement of washi tape on the journaling box camouflages any fall references.
Blue and orange are opposites on the color wheel. I just love how my son's blue shirt pops on the gorgeous paper colors. (By the way, these senior pics were taken in the spring!)
Finally, the last two pages document a late summer visit to the Green Bay Botanical Gardens.
I had one lonely die cut leaf left from another project, so he found a home on the cutpart on the left page.
How will you scrap your Falling Leaves layouts? I hope I've inspired you to think outside the box with this one. Be sure to share your finished projects on our Club Scrap Chat Facebook group - we love seeing your work!
Happy scrapping!
