Who would think that something as simple as repeat stamping could be so much fun? Stamps are like potato chips, you can’t have just one.
But you can have fun with just one stamp!
REPEAT STAMPING TIPS
Below are examples of how you can stamp one image or sentiment (or several) repeatedly to create a really fun card, embellishment, tag or scrapbook page.
To align images in a straight row, stamp your first image. Next, use a grid ruler to mark the position for additional images with a pencil. Simply erase any visible marks after the ink is dry. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from Pattern Play.
Spiff up your stamped art with a variety of embellishments: glitter, enamel dots, brads, stickers (those little round ones are my faves!) or some pen work (white in this case).
Many images look better lined up on a diagonal, rather than haphazardly stamped. The look is more natural and balanced.
For diagonal designs, rotate the card panel to the desired angle on your work surface, then stamp straight onto the panel. This is much easier than trying to stamp at an angle. (Editor's note: The pre-printed grid on the desk blotter is super-helpful for this technique!)
