With lots of cruise projects and collections becoming available, many of you are placing orders to be shipped with your kit. (Thank you!) Please know that every effort will be made to include the order with your kit if it is placed two to three business days prior to membership processing. If the order is placed less than 24-36 hours prior, we'll keep your order ready until the next shipping cycle.
Thank you so much for your demonstrations and words of support for our dear Jacqueline. She will commence radiation therapy today. We continue to pray for minimal side effects and healing in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, she is still managing to create beautiful things for us to enjoy!
Be sure you're subscribed to our weekly promotion emails as we officially celebrate twenty years of monthly kits in June. We don't want you to miss out on important announcements and opportunities. We've already kicked things off with a nifty t-shirt featuring our anniversary logo on the front and the names of all 240 kit themes on the back . Advance orders for the t-shirts close on May 10.
We've also commissioned Sunset Hill Pottery, an awesome Neenah-based potter, to make a 16 oz. mug with a gorgeous glaze. We love the generous size and roomy handle. (Keep in mind this is a digital mock-up of the actual mug, and the final color will likely be even more beautiful!) Pre-order online while supplies last. Shipping starts on June 1.
What's Ahead?
Our purchasing and administrative coordinator, Craig Hein, was browsing the famous Oshkosh Farmer's Market a few years ago and met an extremely talented artist, Terri Einer. She is known for her whimsical, colorful images that always bring a smile. Craig gifted me with one of her original paintings for my birthday, and I enjoy it every day. We are blessed to have Terri as a guest artist for June, featuring her famous Farm Critters. Get ready for a fun, light-hearted, absolutely adorable collection of a theme that has been requested by members for years!
Inks and Fonts
Be sure you have Club Scrap's Sapphire, Mahogany, Ruby, and Parchment inks on hand to superbly match the color palette of this collection.
Fonts for the month include a lovely combination of Matthew Carter's Big Caslon and the beautiful Thuressia Script. The script is available as a free download from DaFont and will help you create coordinating page titles and captions.
