Have you seen the 50s Kitchen Layout formula? I stopped in at Tricia's office this morning, and she was working on a pair of pages with this month's recipe. The color-blocked style is so cool. Plus, all of the math is done for me!
While you can use the monthly Layout Card member download with any papers you have on hand, here is my interpretation with the 50s Kitchen Collection.
Layout Tips and Details
Randomly stamp onto the 2.5x5.25" blocks to create an interesting background.
Have some fun with the Cat Clock Stencil! To add dimension, stencil the clock, bow tie, mouth and eyes onto a separate pice of paper, cut them out, and layer to the base with foam adhesive.
A banner made with the Baker's Twine and Washi Tape adds a bit of fun to the spread.
How to Make a Washi Tape Banner
1. Cut a 2.25" length of Washi Tape.
2. Wrap the tape around a length of Baker's Twine and align ends to adhere.
3. Cut a chevron into the edge of the tape with a scissors. Repeat, evenly spacing the flags onto the tape.
4. Adhere the banner to the layout with foam adhesive.
Embellish with cutaparts from the Embellishment Pack.
