Confetti Hybrid Page
Purchase and download the Confetti Hybrid Kit.
Select the quad prints image and print onto 8.5x11" super white cover stock paper.
Gather three 12x12" papers from the Confetti Page Kit in Blue, Aqua, and Pink.
Trim the Aqua to 11x11" and the Pink to 10x10". Cut each of the hybrid prints into 3x4.5" panels. Add a 4.5x6.25" Yellow mat.
Tip: There are large portions of the Aqua and Blue papers hidden beneath the 10" Pink square. Measure and mark 1" from all sides of the Aqua and Blue papers with a pencil and Acrylic Ruler. To conserve paper, remove the inner squares with a craft knife and cutting mat and set aside for future projects.
The back of the page looks like this once these panels have been removed from the papers.
Cut the word "celebrate" from the 12x12" Small Dot print and Blue plain papers with an electronic cutting system.
Glue the letters together with Bookbinding glue dispensed from a Needle-tipped Applicator to create a drop shadow effect.
Adhere all the panels to the Pink mat. Align the letters and glue over the panels, being very careful not to glue the bottom of the layers onto the yellow mat to allow for photo placement later.
Finishing Touches
Make an adorable banner with Rinea Foil. Trace banner shapes (extinct Cantina Stencil) onto the back of two embossed foil panels.
Fussy cut the shapes with scissors making sure to leave a small tab at the top of each banner.
Add glue to the gutter between the tab and banner. Lay a piece of bakers twine into the gutter.
Fold the tab over the bakers twine while the glue is still wet.
Position the banners onto the page. Place a small dot of glue under the ends of the twine to adhere.
Add fun die cut presents (Sizzix Sizzlits Birthday Set) created with the Confetti Pack of Panels. Pop up the pink present with a foam adhesive circle.
Stamp the Confetti quote directly onto the hybrid panel in Permanent Black Ink.
Adhere the Blue Glitter Crown to a Blue scalloped circle nested with a Rinea Foil circular die cut.
A scrapbook page makes a terrific gift! The recipient can easily add a favorite photo to the large yellow mat.
I found a photo that fit the theme perfectly! We had a blast wearing Mardi Gras masks during Club Scrap's Retreat in 2017.
