Tricia recently introduced the M.E.M.B.E.R. Album (Most Efficient Mini Book Ever Released) at the Great Lakes Mega Meet. During the workshop, students learned how to make a stunning 6x6 handmade mini book featuring the Luminary collection.
Once the initial project is completed, it's easy to repurpose the instructions to customize the book for any occasion or theme. Alternatively, the downloadable instructions and video are now available for purchase in our online store. The M.E.M.B.E.R. Album online workshop is designed to help you create a hand-crafted mini album from any Club Scrap Page Kit plus a few additional materials.
Chocolate M.E.M.B.E.R. Album
I chose the Chocolate Page Kit for my mini album. You'll also need to gather the following:
12x12 Folding Board (Black)
CS® Bookbinding Glue in a Needle-tipped Applicator
12-inch paper trimmer
3x14" Grid Ruler
Accordion Pocket File
Bone Folder
Scissors and Pencil
Adhesive
To replicate this Chocolate version, utilize the following paper substitutions for those in the instructions document.
Paper A = Pink
Paper B = Red
Paper C = Ivory
Paper D = Brown
Paper E = White Chocolate Print
Paper F = Dark Chocolate Print
The 6x6" book features four sets of folded 5.75x11.5" inside pages installed with Tricia's unique U-Hinge binding system.
The pockets installed on the front and back inside covers include a removable insert, perfect for displaying additional photos.
Assemble and install the pages according to the instructions. Four trifold pages create interest and provide extra space for photos and embellishments.
Enhance the trifold flaps with cutaparts. Add the precut photo mats to select pages.
Staple (or tie) ribbons onto the tag-shaped cutaparts. Tuck one into a Pink Pocket. Add the other to the bottom flap of a trifold page.
