Someone made a comment on a previous blog entry that Cantina looks like summer on paper. I'd have to agree! Check out the finer details of the Lite collection:

LAYOUTS 1 & 2

The kit includes a generous pack of Flattened Bottle Caps in assorted colors. Make fill-ins for the bottle caps with 1" punched circles. You can punch coordinating papers from areas hidden by other elements on your pages or use paper scraps/HPOP's from your stash. Stamp an image into the center of the punched circle. Photos work great here, as well!

Remove the top and toothpick from a Paper Umbrella and flatten to make a cute page accent. Alternatively, make a margarita and add it to the rim of your glass.

Here, the flattened bottle cap cleverly completes the image on the Aqua cutapart.

The umbrella has paper "stretchers" inside that can also be clipped to help it flatten perfectly. (For this fancy terminology, I Googled "the anatomy of an umbrella.")

The metallic teal flattened bottle cap can be used to accent a photo matte...

...or to fill in the center of the sun on the Aqua cutapart.

Top the row of four White Print mattes with a short length of folded, stapled grosgrain ribbon. Cut a "v" into each end of the ribbon to duplicate the look of the chevron banner.

LAYOUTS 5 & 6

The pink bottle cap with an orange circle in the middle accents the flower collage on this White cutapart.

Combine an umbrella, bottle cap and cutapart for an adorable embellishment trio.

I adore this ribbon. It's easy to work with and the variegated color is gorgeous.

LAYOUTS 7 & 8

Make a small loop with the yellow grosgrain ribbon and tape it to the back of a flattened bottle cap. So sweet!

I don't think Jacqueline planned to make the center of this flower exactly 1". Pure luck!

I cannot wait to teach this workshop at the Scrapbook Expo in Schaumburg, IL on August 21-22. If you know someone who might enjoy learning our unique "waste-no-time-or-materials" method of scrapbooking, invite them to attend. If you aren't a Lite member, we would be happy to fix that for you. Salud!
