Create more Bright Blooms pages with the help of the May Bonus Formula. I always try to incorporate unique ideas to embellish my layouts and the watercolor crayon stamping technique was a great fit!

Gather plain papers from the Bright Blooms collection as indicated in the May Page Formula.
Trim Papers and Create a Custom Stamped Embellishment
Trim the three 12x12" papers according to the cutting instructions with the following paper assignments: Yellow (Paper A), Pink (Paper B), White (Paper C), and two Black (Paper D).
Select the two small rectangles (Paper C) that are shown on the Right side of the sketch. Place the papers on a cushioned work surface or Club Scrap Grid Paper Pad.
Separate the largest daisy stamp into two pieces with scissors. (I found it was easier to have the stem separate to avoid color contamination when applying color onto the stamp.)
Scribble pink watercolor crayon to the outer petals and yellow to the center of the daisy stamp.
Spritz the image lightly with water to activate the color.
Press the image onto right rectangle and let sit to allow the color to transfer to the paper.
Repeat the process for the second white panel, rotating the position of the flower image for variety.
Add green watercolor crayon to the stem, spritz lightly with water, and add to each flower image.
Create a speckled effect by loading a water brush with green crayon and tapping it above each panel.
Finish each panel with a stamped sentiment in India Ink.
Assembly Tips
Punch daisy shapes and make a swallowtail mat for the white strip. (All are scraps left over from the trimming process.)
Refer to the sketch to dry fit the trimmed pieces.
Add Rainforest Enamel dots stickers to the center of each punched daisy.
Apply Bookbinding Glue to the long skinny accent strip with a Needle-tipped Applicator. Adhere to the base papers using a Grid Ruler to ensure perfect alignment.
Align the Grid Ruler to guide placement for each large square on the left page.
Before cropping, dry fit photos over each mat to test placement.
Crop the photos to fit each mat.
