I am so pleased that Karen invited me to be the Guest Artist this month! I challenged myself to go back to basics with the Blueprints collection, and used some simple designs and techniques that I love.
Set A: 3-1/2 x 5":
Envelope Punch Board Corner Detail
Score the card, as directed, in the Greetings To Go Instructions. Place the paper in the punch board with the left top corner centered in the opening, and punch. Continue down the length of the paper to the second and third score lines, center both on the board over the score lines and punch, and finally center in the opening on the right top corner and punch. Flip the paper over and repeat for the other long side of the paper. Punch the four corners of the nested panels in the same manner.
Triple Time Stamp Technique
In order for the illusion to work, the z-fold panels were glued down so they became an overlapping gate fold card. Check out this cool video tutorial on the stamping technique.
Building Block
I created a standard z-fold card, in order to make the building block pop up element. I cut the slits for the blocks at closer increments to allow my stamped sentiments to fit perfectly.

Don't be afraid to add some digital elements when creating your cards. I made a 4-up print on my computer using some of the Blueprints Digital kit backgrounds. Check out the digital store HERE.
