We debuted three 5x7 Handmade Book workshops at the 2023 Great Lakes Mega Meet earlier this year. Even though the class kits are no longer available, it's still easy to transform the Baby, Baby Remix Page kit and mat board into an adorable 5x7 handmade album.
Handmade Album for Your Little One
Learn how to make a mini album featuring a unique spine structure. To make one for yourself, gather a Baby, Baby Remix Page Kit and one 12x12 Mat Board. Next, purchase and download the 5x7 Handmade Book Instructions. Sort your papers and trim according to the cutting diagrams included in the project instructions.
Follow the instructions and video tutorial provided to assemble the book structure. After assembly, use the remaining paper and embellishments to decorate the book as desired.

Create a collage of cutaparts and embellishments to create an adorable cover for your book.
The unique U-Hinge spine allows the book to lie flat when open and means there's plenty of room for liberal embellishing.
Add cutaparts, photo mats and other goodies to decorate the finished book. Rounding the corners of the trifold flaps adds a fun touch.
Don't be afraid to trim 12" cutaparts to fit the dimensions of the inside pages. Aren't those puffy stars sweet?
Each trifold page opens to reveal even more real estate for photos and embellishments - it can hold 20 or more photos!
