Create eight stunning Alpine holiday cards with the cutting formula from the Jack of Diamonds - Idea Deck Vol. 5 (revised edition) and the Scandinavian Holiday stamps.

I chose to work with papers from the Alpine collection. To add interest to my cards, I cut two of Paper B, one Pine Plain, and one White Print. Paper C (Bluebird Plain) was cut as instructed.

Select the four 4x5.25 and four 1.75x2 panels in the White Print and the remaining four 3x3.75" panels in the Pine Plain.

Follow the handy dandy sketch image on the idea deck card to help sort the panels onto the card bases.

Enhance the 3x3.75" plain panels with embossing folders or stamped images.

Stamp the Bluebird panels with Spruce, Ocean, and Leaf inks and the Scandinavian Holiday ornaments images. Add the inks to the ornaments first and then fill in the strings with black marker.

Continue stamping the images until a pattern is achieved.

Stamp the four 4x5.25" Bluebird panels in a monotone palette with Spruce and Ocean inks.

Embellish the cards with goodies from the Alpine collection. I just love how the skeleton leaves add an organic flair peaking out from beneath the stamped sentiment panel.

Let's take another look at the entire set of holiday cards!

I hope you find these formulas make your card making fun, fast and efficient!

Happy Crafting!

Julie
