The May Greetings to Go Guest Artist is Club Scrap's very own Julie Heyer.
Julie incorporated some really cool techniques into her cards. If you are interested in replicating the looks shared here, be sure to stop back on Friday as she shares a couple of quick tutorials.
SET A: 4.5 x 6.25" IVORY GATE FOLD CARDS
Trim burlap panels for front of card. Create belly band embellished with handmade paper flowers. Use Julie's technique to add texture and stamped images to create scenic background. Trim front panels to create color-blocked design. Use scenic background technique to create front panel. Stamp duck, trim and attach with foam adhesive circles. Trim burlap to create two panels. Stamp jar image onto clear plastic and trim. Build a bouquet of handmade paper flowers, attach to jar. (For more information on how the jar is made, check out Julie's post.)
SET B: 3.5 x 5" MINT CARDS
Die cut window from kraft print. Back with stamped scenery panel.
Die cut window from kraft plain. Stamp blue panel to create nighttime scene. Add dots of yellow to make fireflies "glow". Add texture to poppy panel using an embossing folder. Create jar using Julie's technique, add handmade paper flower bouquet. Attach cutapart sentiment. Add texture to poppy panel using an embossing folder. Use Julie's tutorial to create jar, add burlap strip and stamped tag.
SET C: 4.25 x 5.5" IVORY Z-FOLD CARDS
Stamp arrows in Distress Oxide Cracked Pistachio ink onto kraft panel. Stamp jar image onto ivory plain, add sentiment to center. Emboss jar lid in silver EP.
Add texture to kraft panel using an embossing folder. Ink with Earth to highlight design. Trim cutaparts and use corner rounder on two edges. Back with burlap.
Use Julie's tutorial to create scenic panel. Add stamped sentiment and cutaparts backed with burlap.
