I recently participated in Tricia's 5x7 Nested Strips online class. During the presentation, we learned how to cut and assemble papers to create six cards and a gift box featuring the Yellowstone collection.
After constructing the original project alongside Tricia, I decided to recycle the formula - this time with Abundance papers and stamps.
To recreate this project with the Abundance collection, gather the following:
Paper A = Orange
Papers B, C, D = Blue, Ivory, Brown
Paper E = Dk. Brown (from stash)
Paper F - Blue Print
Cutapart = Ivory Plain

Abundance stamps
CS® Hybrid Inks: Earth, Sapphire, Tangerine
(2) Ivory A2 Envelopes, (4) Ivory A7 Envelopes
Sort and trim your papers according to the sketches and instructions. Follow the diagrams to score and fold the box and lid.
Locate the larger plain Ivory (cutapart) panels meant to decorate the box lid. Stamp flower and leaf images onto the 3.75x6.75" panel with Earth, Sapphire and Tangerine inks. Stamp the "shine" sentiment onto the 3x3.25" panel with Earth ink. Mask the center of the panel, and apply Tangerine ink around the perimeter to create a "faux" mat. Distress the edges of both panels with Earth ink; adhere to the lid.
Deal out the card bases and panels to create the basic card structures. Add the nested strip panel to the front of each card.
Stamp sentiments onto the .75x3.75" Ivory strips with coordinating inks. Nest onto the front of each card. Stamp "innie" sentiments onto the remaining 3x4.5 and 3x5" inside panels, if desired.
Now's your chance to learn something new with the 5x7 Nested Strips Card Kit. Once you've completed the Yellowstone cards, recycle the formula again and again with papers from your stash. The cards with box make thoughtful gifts for the holiday season; make a bunch to have on hand for gifting to party hosts, teachers, and more.
