Create an adorable Tulle Tutu for a stylish embellishment that compliments the A Night at the Met collection perfectly.
Tulle Tutu Dancer Card
Cut a strip of 2x12" white tulle.
Gather the strip into pleats and secure at the top with white wax linen thread to form the tutu.
Trim as needed.
Stamp the ballet dancer onto a 3.5x4.75" Aqua print panel with Amethyst ink. Note: Apply the ink to the stamp and then create streaks with the edge of the pad prior to stamping.
Layer this panel onto a 3.75x5" Purple panel and a 4.25x5.5" Aqua folded card base.
Adhere the tulle tutu over the stamped image with hot glue.
Adorn the tutu with three Jewel stickers.
Add a stamped sentiment to complete the card.
Tulle Tutu Dress Card
I pulled inspiration for this card from Roni's December Card Sketch. Visit the challenge for details.
Stamp the dress onto an Aqua print panel with Versamark ink.
Sprinkle the image with silver embossing powder and heat to melt.
Cut a piece of tulle and create the tutu as detailed above.
Add a bit of hot glue to the top of the tutu and press to flatten. Adhere the tutu onto the embossed image with hot glue.
Stamp the top of the dress onto an "art orphan" created with Distress oxide inks. Fussy cut the image with scissors.
Adhere the bodice onto the flattened tulle with hot glue.
Add ribbons and a stamped and matted sentiment to finish the card.
Happy Crafting!
